PUBLIC NOTICE
APPOINTMENT OF THE TCRA DIRECTOR GENERAL
In accordance with the provisions of Section 13 (1) of the Tanzania
Communications Regulatory Authority Act No.12 of 2003, the Minister of
Communications, Science and Technology, after submission by the Nominations Committee, and a competitive selection procedure as per Section 13 (6) of the TCRA Act, has appointed Prof. John S. Nkoma as the Director General of TCRA with effect from 1st July 2009. He is the current Director General and will be serving a second term of 5 years with this appointment.
APPOINTMENTS OF MEMBERS OF THE TCRA BOARD
In accordance with the provisions of Clause 2.-(2) of the First Schedule to
The Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority Act No. 12 of 2003, the
Minister of Communications, Science and Technology, after submission by the
Nominations Committee, and a competitive selection procedure as per Section
13 (6) of the TCRA Act, has appointed the following as members of the TCRA
Board:
Eng. Baruany E. A. Luhanga
Dr Vuai Iddi Lila
Dr. Justinian Anatory
With these appointments, and in accordance with the provisions of Section 7
(1) of the Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority Act No.12 of 2003,
The seven members of the TCRA Board are as follows, where the Chairman and Vice Chairman were appointed by the President in accordance with Section 7 (2) of the TCRA Act No.12 of 2003:
